As the Co-Founder of Sport Changes Life Foundation (SCLF), Gareth is the driving force behind the ethos and culture of the organisation. Gareth has secured significant funding over the years for the SCLF and was instrumental in securing the Harlem Globe Trotters visit to Belfast. His unique vision and drive has seen the successful roll out of the Victory Scholars programme and laterally the Belfast Invitational event.
Steven brings senior level corporate experience to the Inspirus team. Amongst a number of senior management positions Steven has been a senior executive in the global markets group at JP Morgan and Citigroup. Most recently as Managing Director Global Head of Investor Client management and NA Fixed Income Sales at JP Morgan. At Citigroup he was Managing Director, Global Head of Hedge Fund Services and Global Futures, Head European Fixed Income Business Group, Global Head of Fixed Incomes Sales. Most recently Steven was President of Aesir Capital Management, SEC registered investment advisor. He is on the Board of Directors of 4C Health Solutions, a healthcare technology company. He is a Board Member of the Boomer Esiason Foundation and Vice President of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Sports Foundation at Brown University USA.
Scott is a highly experienced international leader who has lived and worked in seven countries. He previously served as the Chief Executive of the British Judo Association, the Irish Basketball Association, and the Students' Union at the University of Southampton. He began his career as a Foreign Service Officer with the US Department of State. He was the Captain of the basketball team in his senior year at Brown University and played professionally for a number of teams in Europe after graduation. He is highly experienced in developing sports, fundraising and events management and will play a lead role in the future development of Inspirus Sports as a key member of the Senior Management Team.
Over three decades of experience within US intercollegiate sport, event management and law. Since 1990 Richard has been the Commissioner of the Metro Atlantic conference (MAAC). Richard has provided leadership in a period of transition and growth in intercollegiate athletics and the MAAC. Richard has a wealth of contacts and a proven track record of delivery within Collegiate sport and is a committed advocate to the benefits of the student athlete experience.
Deirdre is a Professor of Physical Education and Sport at Ulster University, Belfast and co-founder of the Sport Changes Life Foundation. She specialises in the use of sport and physical activity as a tool for personal and community development. She was Director of the multi-awarding winning Ulster University Sports Outreach unit that designed, developed and delivered physical activity and health programs to at risk youth. Deirdre pioneered the Universities' Talented Athlete Program, International Sports Scholarship and the Victory Scholar Programs.
As one of the co-founders of Sport Changes Life Foundation (SCLF) Mark has been involved in all aspects of developing and growing the foundation, and also creating the Inspirus model. Mark has enjoyed a 25 year career in the specialist luxury travel and hotel accommodation market. Mark was responsible for all aspects of the travel portfolio for the 2017 and 2018 events and will manage all travel aspects of future Inspirus events.
Michelle has provided expertise and guidance to sport-related organisations focusing on strategic and business performance planning, event bidding and hosting strategies, event execution and sports facility analysis. Michelle has over 25 years of major event management experience including, 12 years at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) where she oversaw the NCAA’s Women’s Final Four.
Marc is a creative director with a background in broadcast media, digital content, marketing, event operations and communications offerings. Marc was the Executive Director and Executive Producer of Broadcasting of the 2017 and 2018 Belfast Classic, operationally delivering the event, commercial assets and live broadcasts to a global audience.
With strong stakeholder management and negotiations skills he has the unique ability to take an idea from inception to delivery. This is supported by his extensive portfolio of delivering assets for the Olympics, NCAA, NBA, UFC, FIBA, CBS Sports, BBC and ESPN.
Marc will serve in a leadership position guiding the direction and production of Inspirus Sports events and media offering.

Marc will again showcase his unique talents in leading the Inspirus event series and multi-media offering of Inspirus Sports as he brings the message of the series to a global audience.
